Individual Therapy

Personalised 1:1 dramatherapy. A pre assessment takes place with psychotherapist/counsellor. if suitable, sessions are tailored to meet your needs and goals; this can be a short or long term intervention. A min of 6 - 10 sessions is a short term intervention. long term interventions can go up to 15 - 20 sessions with at least 2 reviews throughout. sessions can take place in person and on line, all sessions are confidential. 

Group Therapy

Connect with others and find support in a group setting, group therapy is a chance to collectively & creatively explore a specific issue that is negatively impacting you. pre assessment takes place with psychotherapist/counsellor. Current groups: - domestic violence, postpartum depression, addiction (gambling) and a mixed group for depression/anxiety/work related stress. Group Dramatherapy is in-person sessions only with a max of 6 people per group for 6 - 8 sessions per intervention. Groups co-facilitated by experienced psychotherapists.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We offer 1:1 dramatherapy, short & long term (both based on assessment and reviews througout intervention). Group dramatherapy is a short term intervention that consists of 8 weekly 1hr sessions (max 6ppl per group). We also provide counselling support to young people and their families, this is a bespoke service faciltated by an experienced therapeutic counsellor who specialises in supporting young people and their families to overcome struggles. Each intervention is tailored to individuals, groups and families wants and needs.

Drama2therapy is for anyone with a curiosity in creative forms of psychotherapeutic intervention. Our experience lies in working with individuals struggling with domestic violence, depression, addiction, anxiety disorders, work related stress and those facing adversity. Our therapy space offers an opportunity to explore your personal journey through imagery, affirmations, play and movement plus more. Ultimately, we provide the tools and support the path you wish to  navigate; the Drama2therapy space is your safe grounds.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, all therapy sessions are strictly confidential to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our clients. If anyone using the service poses  a risk to themselves or others, our therapists/counsellors will seek outside support to safegaurd all individuals. An open conversation with our clients about this will always be a priority; we value transparency and honesty.
